Arthur Howard.
After eating twenty-one of Mrs. Teaberry's jelly rolls, Mr. Putter's stomach is upset. Unable to sleep, he takes Tabby for a walk to look at the stars. When they get home, they discover Mrs. Teaberry outside because her dog Zeke also ate too many jelly rolls. Rylant's text is gently humorous and Howard's pencil, watercolor, and gouache illustrations are comfortably cozy.
