Barbara Cantini.
The titular twelve-year-old catastrophe-magnet introduced in Anyone but Ivy Pocket returns. Now in London, she faces a host of dubious situations, including a girl investigating her brother's disappearance, a deceased (or is she?) friend trapped in another dimension, and the evil Miss Always's hunt for the Clock Diamond. Tim Burton–esque illustrations and a hilariously self-impressed protagonist outshine the story's uneven pacing.
