Illustrated by
Giselle Potter.
The premise of a kitten with an aversion to chocolate turns the picky-eater dilemma on its head as humans try encouragement, guilt-induction, and threats to get Sugar to eat cake. The illustrations convey lots of personality, human and feline, but the joke wears thin long before Sugar discovers milk and chicken, then finally eats.
