Marketed as an adult edition, this hefty volume may not deter young fantasy fans accustomed to tomes of epic proportions, but the small type, inclusion of fewer illustrations than many recent editions, and appended C. S. Lewis essay "On Three Ways of Writing for Children" do make this more of a gift book for adults.
