George continues a not-always-successful blend of realism and the supernatural in the fourth volume following a group of teens on Whidbey Island in Washington State. The group includes paranormally gifted Becca, now a caretaker to friend Seth's grandfather. The abundant characters are diverse in background and issues but lack depth; fans of the saga shouldn't expect to see all the plot points resolved here.
