This combination graphic novel/pop-up book fairly accurately tells Homer's story of Odysseus's voyage. Snappy dialogue, a comic book–format, action-packed illustrations, and complex paper engineering make for a dynamic adaptation; however, while the pop-ups and movable parts provide diverting interaction, they often disrupt the plot sequence and make the story hard to follow.
