K-3
Illustrated by
Felix Scheinberger.
Timmy the hare has never played with a bear before, and at first he likes Bruno. However, after Bruno accidentally pops Timmy's new ball, Timmy says he'll never play with him again. He quickly changes his mind when Bruno rescues him from a bully. Although the story of accepting differences is predictable, the appealing characters and energetic illustrations make it enjoyable.
