This entertaining future-set action-adventure hits the (virtual) ground running and doesn't stop until "Outside"-phobic Tria and friends--fellow humans, holographs, and quasi-robots--have saved the world and rescued Tria's kidnapped mother and best friend. Characterization is light but not without dimension. The mystery is suspensefully developed, with Rector dropping just enough clues along the way.
