Cheery pastel hues and playful pictures enliven this book about things that belong together, leading up to the final image of a mother and child ("We go together because you love me and I love you"). Written in a singsongy, repetitive rhyme, some of Dunn's pairings are clever ("fire and dragon" shows a cartoon dragon roasting marshmallows) while others are trite.
