In this Portuguese import, a guard on a spare left-hand page stops a civilian: "No one's allowed onto the right-hand page"--general's orders. Soon others gather and, while compliant, respectfully challenge the guard. Then a ball bounces onto the right-hand page... The ending is abrupt, but by then the democratic point has been adroitly made, abetted by what looks like child-drawn Magic Marker illustrations.
