To prove that he, like a butterfly, "can see everything upside down," a dog balances nose-down on top of the post he's tethered to; for the next two spreads, Thierry inverts the image and text. This amusing, if confusing meta-tale is illustrated with a spare color palette. Scenes are contained within boxes, the parameters of which change shape to suit Thierry's compositional whims.
