This pleasant Swiss import offers a series of loosely connected rhyming couplets about a voyage to tropical seas. The steamship passengers, clad in old-fashioned sailing garb, encounter a variety of ocean creatures, from seahorse to whale. "This is a sight you'll never forget: / The octopus playing a jazz quartet." A droll, often fanciful illustration accompanies each couplet.
