Frustrated that he's growing up too slowly, Browny, a young cub, believes he'll get bigger if he eats some honey but is told he's too small to reach any bee hives. Browny gains confidence when he discovers a hive in some tree roots and realizes that his small size is just right. Illustrated with soft watercolor pictures, the story is a bit obvious but will be reassuring to those children anxious to grow up fast.
