Despite the fright-fraught mission, the crew's trademark goofiness breaks the tension as the kids work to crack the case. Lively black-and-white illustrations mirror the lightheartedness of the wordplay- and pun-heavy text.

Led by perpetual sidekick Amazing Techno Dude, the Super Goofballs battle smelly (Feeling) and grouchy (Paradise) bad guys using unorthodox methods and unpredictable results. The action tends to drag, replacing plot with bodily function jokes, but fans of Captain Underpants will likely be amused. Frenzied black-and-white drawings illustrate the proceedings.
